This Thanksgiving week, thoughts often turn to the “First Thanksgiving” as celebrated by the first permanent settlement of Europeans in New England, the Pilgrims. We thought we’d share with you the acclaimed documentary by filmmaker Ric Burns, The Pilgrims, chronicling the important story of the settlement’s first decade in New England. Originally broadcast by PBS in 2015 as part of American Experience, the film garnered praise by critics and viewers alike.
